Context
As part of the online team, I played a key role in developing Payback’s gamification campaigns, contributing to both concept and execution. My responsibilities included designing engaging user interfaces, conceptualizing innovative mechanics, and bringing ideas to life through illustrations and animations. Additionally, I created online collateral that visually captured the spirit of each campaign and helped drive user participation.
Payback is one of Europe’s largest bonus programs, partnering with over 600 well-known companies and enabling users to collect points while shopping both in-store and online. The goal of our gamification campaigns was to make this experience more interactive and rewarding. By combining playful elements with clear design, we encouraged users to engage with the platform more frequently, discover partner offers, and connect emotionally with the Payback brand.
These campaigns showcased how gamification can transform a loyalty program from a simple points system into an engaging journey filled with fun, incentives, and memorable user experiences.
